Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan has been sent to two days police custody after he was presented at a Mumbai court by the police on Monday.
He was arrested by the anti-narcotics cell of Navi Mumbai crime branch for the alleged possession ecstasy tablets, a banned substance. The police said, at least 8 ecstasy tablets were found on Khan, a resident of AndheriWest.
Denying the allegations against him, the actor claims that this is a conspiracy against him and the government is trying to frame him, he said in the court.
“If helping the delivery boys of Zomato was a crime, I’m a criminal. If speaking against the wrong doing of Politician was a crime, I’m a criminal. P.S: This all is a conspiracy Planned by the biggies & Dear Media & Haters this “?” won’t help as I know my family & Allah is with me (sic),” he tweeted.

“We were tipped off that a particular person has a banned psychotropic substance, so we raided the hotel & found 8 ecstasy tablets in Ajaz Khan’s possession, probe underway” Tushar Doshi, DCP Mumbai said.
According to the reports, two cell phones of the actor have been seized by the police and a total recovery valuing over Rs. 2.2 lakhs have been made by the Anti-Narcotics Cell.
