PM Modi, other leaders greet President Kovind on his 73rd birthday

As the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind celebrates his 73rd birthday on Monday, he received warm greetings from people across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi warmly greeted Kovind and had tweeted earlier-

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his tweet wished the President –

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted to the President-

Delhi CM also extended his wishes in his tweet-

Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s tweet greeted-

Health Minister JP Nadda, Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal, Orissa CM Naveen Patnaik and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee also extended their warm wishes through their tweets to the President.

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina also wished the President in his tweet-

Indian national record holder in 400m, Olympic athlete Hima Das tweeted

Ram Nath Kovind has been in office since 25 July 2017. He had served as the Governor of Bihar from 2015 to 2017 and was a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from 1994 to 2006.

He was a lawyer for 16 years and practiced in the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court until 1993, before entering the political arena.
