Bollywood actresses Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone will appear together in the opening episode of the sixth season of “Koffee with Karan”.
Filmmaker and host, Karan Johar on Friday took to Twitter to break the news and wrote, “The first cup of koffee is all about #girlpower !! Welcome @deepikapadukone and @aliaa08 on episode 1 season 6 of #koffeewithkaran on @StarWorldIndia @hotstartweets.”

The celebrity talk show will go on air from October 21 on Star World, with episodes out on every Sunday at 9 pm. Previously, Deepika had appeared on the show with Sonam Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Farah Khan, while Bhatt shared the space with Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Parineeti Chopra. However, both actresses have also separately appeared on the show with Shah Rukh Khan.
Since Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been shooting for their upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’, they have been making headlines of their rumoured relationship. Recently on Ranbir’s birthday, Alia took to her Instagram page and wished him with a caption, “Happy birthday sunshine.”
While Ranbir’s mother and actress Neetu Singh added a spark to the rumoured relationship as she shared a picture with Ranbir, Alia and Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan.
Meanwhile, during the filming of ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ in 2008, Ranbir began dating Deepika. The relationship attracted media coverage and speculated on an impending engagement. However, the couple broke up a year later. Ranbir later confessed, “Yes, I have, out of immaturity, out of inexperience, out of taking advantage of certain temptations, out of callousness.” Later in 2015, Kapoor stated that they both had resolved the conflict and had moved on with their lives.
Subsequently, Deepika became reticent to discuss her personal life, but in 2017, she fondly spoke of her relationship with actor Ranveer Singh. There have been speculations of Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding, however, there has been no confirmation from either of the two.
