A lawyer was allegedly assaulted in Noida by two directors of ABA Corp, the promoters of the Cleo County project along with four police constables.

The two directors, Amit Modi and Sunil Gehlot, as well as the constables, have been booked for attempt to murder, voluntarily causing injury, and breach of the peace by the Noida Phase 3 police station under IPC sections.

A video was pulled out in which around 3-4 policemen were seen allegedly confining and assaulting Mahendra Singh, the advocate, on September 16. On seeing the video, SSP Ajay Sharma sent about seven constables of a police outpost of Garhi Chaukhandi.

When the advocate was asked about the whole incident, he said that he is the owner of the land which the builders had illegally occupied and the dispute of it is going on in the high court.

On September 16, he went to the land to convince the buyers against purchasing any property there. Within no time, the six accused men surrounded Singh and took him forcibly to an outpost and assaulted him.
