Indo-Kazakh ties to get boost, Deputy PM to hold talks in Delhi

In the fresh momentum to Indo-Kazakh ties, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev will be in New Delhi this week to promote digital Kazakistan initiative.

During his two day visit on September 20 -21, Zhumagaliyev will hold a meeting with Ravi Shankar Prasad Minister of Electronics & Information Technology and management of leading state-owned and private IT companies. The Deputy PM will also visit a technological facilities of India in Delhi and Bangalore, according to Kazakh officials.

Within the framework of these meetings, both India and Kazakhstan will discuss the possibility of further strengthening the bilateral relations in the field of information technology.

Both the countries have centuries-old historical and cultural ties. Since 2009, India and Kazakhstan are strategic partners.
