Jio’s celebrations pack: Here’s how you can get free data per day

Date:

The Mukesh Ambani-owned telecom operator, Jio is offering its 215 million customers (as per TRAI data for June 2018) with an offer of 8GB additional 4G data to its users, which will be applied this month onwards in the form of two monthly vouchers.

The details of the offer are available on MyJio app, which can be accessed by Jio users from their mobile phones. The company has said that the voucher will be credited for this month by September 20, while the second one will be available in October.

However, no Jio user will be able to consume 8GB at one go. Users will be able to use only 2GB per day, limited to four days in September and October.

In addition to this, Jio has partnered with Cadbury to offer 1GB additional data. Anybody buying Cadbury product can click a photo of the empty wrapper on inside to get the data. This offer is also available via the MyJio app.

In 2016, Reliance Jio started its mobile internet journey in the country, which resulted in a major drop in 4G data prices. Telcos like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea succumbed to the pricing pressure as users cited Jio.
