Militant killed, policeman injured in an encounter in Anantnag

Anantnag: A militant was neutralised and a policeman was injured when the militants attacked the police picket in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The militants attacked the police picket on Friday night.

In the retaliatory fire, a militant was killed and his weapons were recovered by the police. The official said that in the shootout, a policeman sustained injuries and was shifted to a hospital where his condition was said to be stable.
