Will you buy ‘Gold Rakhis’ this Rakshabandhan with PM Modi’s face engraved on it?

Rakshabandhan being just a day away, a jewelry shop in Gujarat is selling Rakhis that are made if gold with Prime Minister Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani’s pictures engraved on them.

This year the jeweler made 50 such rakhis, which ranges from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 70,000 per rakhi and almost all of them have been sold out. According to the report, jewellery shop owner Milan said, “Our Prime Minister Modi, Chief Ministers of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh have done very good work for our country and they inspire millions across the world.” The faces of the leaders have been engraved with a laser machine on gold plate.

He further said, “Women are visiting our store to buy these rakhis as they feel inspired from these leaders. They feel that their brothers will also earn name and fame in their respective fields.”

The jeweler further informed that out of 50 gold rakhis which have been designed this year, 47 of them have been sold out. He added that more orders are still pouring in. Meanwhile, a customer said, “By tying this Narendra Modi rakhi, I would bless my brother to do something great like Prime Minister Modi.” In a similar case, a shop in Gujarat’s Surat named ’24 Carats Mithai Magic’ is selling sweets for a whopping Rs 9,000 per kg.
