In order to make travel convenient and comfortable for ladies this Raksha Bandhan, Indian Railways has announced special trains to ply from Delhi to nearby areas on Sunday. Three different to and fro routes will be functional – New Delhi to Palwal, New Delhi to Ghaziabad, and New Delhi to Panipat.
This is a thoughtful gesture for the ladies to make their festival special and memorable and to make travel convenient for siblings staying in different cities. The celebration of Raksha Bandhan witnesses sisters tying a thread of love on the wrists of brothers and the brother makes a promise to protect the sisters for life.
