The President of India Ram Nath Kovind paid floral tributes at the portrait of former President of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma on the occasion of his birth anniversary at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday.

Officers and staff of Rashtrapati Bhavan along with the family members of the former President also paid their respects on the occasion.
Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma served as the ninth President from 1992 to 1997. He had also been the eighth Vice-President of the country and ex-officio Chairman of Rajya Sabha from September 3, 1987, to July 24, 1992.
