All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi slammed Rahul Gandhi saying that people in our country are lynched and he is hugging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is ‘shameful’.
Owaisi said, “People are being lynched in name of cow killing and you are hugging PM Modi”. The no-confidence motion was moved against PM Modi. The House had a debate of around 7 hours on the issue and instead of debating you (Rahul Gandhi) went to embrace PM Modi.”

After the no-confidence motion, Rahul Gandhi received a lot of criticism and was trolled at the same time for his speech. After finishing his speech he moved to where PM Narendra Modi was sitting and hugged him.
However, it seems the Congress President’s speech failed to impress the BJP as they called his actions ‘immature’. Later while addressing the House on the Opposition’s ‘No Confidence motion’, he mocked and slammed Rahul Gandhi for his hug, calling it an imposed hug.
On the other hand, the Congress party claimed that the hug shocked and surprised Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
