You can now know and tell people where you actually are in an airplane. Even when you use Instagram from the flight, your followers can know what your are doing inside.

When the day is clear, you can actually see exciting things from your window such as mountain ranges, crystal clear blue skies, rivers, landscapes, and snippets of cities you are crossing.

However, now there is also an app that lets you know the location you are crossing and the place you are passing along with facts about the place. The app named Flyover Country, with the help of your phone’s GPS, lets you know your current location and height at which the plane is flying.

You can also find articles, data, and maps on this app from where you can even know the route through which you are headed. And, the good news is that you do not require the in-flight Wi-Fi connection since your GPS can help you out here. Apart from aircrafts, this app can also be used for road trips and other tours.

The founder of the app, Amy Myrbo also plans to add other features such as meteorological and astronomy facts that could provide information about evening and night flights and cloudy days.
