Virender Sehwag, the former Cricket opener will join the Delhi Development Cricket Association as one of the three members along with former players Rahul Singhvi and Akash Chopra.
In his tenure of 14 years, Sehwag played 104 test matches and 251 ODIs. Akash played ten national level test matches and Rahul played ten ODIs representing India.
According to Republic, another special revelation is that Gautam Gambhir will a special invitee to the committee. Gambhir has been a former skipper of the Delhi Cricket team.

As per the DDCA, the committee is permitted to form multiple selection committees based on the recommendations by the BCCI rules and Lodha Committee and the committee can also guide the association towards the areas of improvement in the Delhi Cricket team.
Last year, Sehwag was also appointed as the government nominee, however, he had to give up the post as ordered by Justice Vikramjit Singh since he was still playing as a part of the team.
