Delhi Metro Violet Line service halted after railing collapses

Delhi Metro services were disrupted on Thursday when Violet line halted after a portion of a railing wall fell on a train between Lajpat Nagar & Jangpura metro station. The delay in services led to the rush and long ques at the metro station.

Delhi received heavy rain showers on Thursday afternoon and the rain was also considered to be a reason. As per reports, no one has received injuries, but the service on the line has been stopped due to the incident.
