Date:

People usually do not prefer taking painkillers as they can become major addictions. Apart from the fact that they are chemicals and consistent intake has its own side effects.
So, what does one do about the unbearable pain one sometimes has? Pain can be various kinds and they can greatly hamper our routine and work. Time to shift to natural ingredients as they are not harmful to the body and do not disturb the internal body system.

Here is a list of natural ingredients that will help relieve your pain without any side effects –

Turmeric: One of the basic Indian spices, that makes everything bright, can do a lot more than just provide taste and colour. It has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving qualities. It eases toothache, chronic pain and back pain.
How to use it – to use on open wounds and arthritic joints, mix two spoons of turmeric with water to make a paste, apply on the spot. For chronic pain, it can be mixed with milk and consumed.

Ginger: This not so tasty ingredient is best known for relieving arthritis pain and chronic joint pain. Ginger also relaxes blood vessels and lowers migraines. Externally, compressed ginger can be applied to affected areas. Since ancient times, people have used ginger tea and blended ginger juice for treating blood vessels and headaches.

Aloe Vera: The plant of “immortality”, as referred to by the Egyptians, has been known for its beauty and cosmetic benefits. Apart from acting as a cleanser, aloe vera also has anti- inflammatory properties and thus reduces arthritis pain and stiffness. It contains vitamins and minerals that repair damaged cells and tissues. Aloe Vera can be applied directly on the damaged area or it can easily be consumed orally with water.

Cloves: hasn’t your grandmother or mother always asked you to apply clove oil on an aching tooth? Well, they surely had a strong reason to recommend it as cloves contain a powerful natural anaesthetic which relieves tooth ache and gum pains. Cotton dipped in clove oil can be applied on the aching tooth. If not available, grounded or whole clove can also be consumed directly.

Black Pepper: Do not judge this little black ball by its size. Black pepper is used to treat inflammatory pains like that of rheumatoid arthritis and colitis. Also, when mixed with turmeric it enhances its bio-availability. Grated black pepper with juice helps reduce pain. Along with turmeric it enhances its effect. It can be taken in the form of powder or oil.

It is time to say good bye to the harmful painkillers and medicines. Shift to something natural and safer for the body. Natural painkillers are easily available and very easy to use.
