Five people were killed after a chartered plane in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area crashed, taking the life of the pilot, Captain Pradeep Rajput as well as the co-pilot, Maria on Thursday. Now, her husband blames the aviation company, which owned the plane, for the unfortunate incident.

According to the reports, co-pilot Maria’s husband, P Kuthariya said that his wife had informed him bad weather had grounded the plane. “The incident could have been averted. Maria had told me that the flight won’t take off due to bad weather. The aviation company is responsible for this unfortunate incident,” he said.
Immediately after the incident, there were reports of the plane belonging to the Uttar Pradesh government officials but they denied it. “The aircraft was sold to Mumbai’s UY Aviation. The deal was done after the plane had met with an accident in Allahabad,” Principal Secretary Information Avnish Awasthi said.

The eyewitnesses said that it would have been a much more disastrous situation had the plane crashed in a much more crowded place.
