So the Miss India crown goes to another elegant lady coming from Tamil Nadu, Anukreethy Vas, a 19-year-old college student has been crowned as Femina Miss India 2018 in a glittering ceremony in Mumbai.
The programme was hosted by Karan Johar and actor Ayushmann Khurrana. The girl was earlier crowned as Femina Miss Tamil Nadu, and now beating 30 contestants she bagged the top honour in front of the judge’s panel. The judge’s panel included cricketers Irfan Pathan and KL Rahul and Bollywood actors like Malaika Arora, Bobby Deol and Kunal Kapoor.
Former Miss India, Manushi Chillar crowned Anukreethy, and Miss United Continents 2017 Sana Dua, and Miss Intercontinental 2017 Priyanka Kumari crowned Meenakshi Chaudhary from Haryana who was the first runner-up while Shreya Rao Kamavarapu from Andhra Pradesh who secured the second runner-up position
To make the evening more glamorous there were performances by the stars like Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Anukreethy Vas will now represent India at Miss World 2018 while the two runners-up will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2018 and Miss United Continents 2018 respectively.
