Coin to cocktail – Singapore is gearing up for Kim-Trump summit

Singapore, the ever-peaceful city is buzzing with preparations for the Kim-Trump Summit scheduled to be held in less than two weeks from now. The two presidents Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un’s will be the stars of the summit.

Frantic preparations are being done such as hotel bookings, setting up of meeting places, and tight security.

The two are scheduled to meet on June 12 around 9 am and special coins have been introduced to commemorate the event. The coins feature the two leaders facing each other with their flags behind them. The coins are sold at showrooms for $24.95. There are around 200 gold and 2000 silver coins.

Besides this, a new cocktail has been launched at bars in Singapore named ‘Bromance’ made with tequila, beer, diet coke and soju, the national drink of Korea. Diet coke is used in the drink because it is Trump’s favourite drink. A sticker of Kim and Trump will be put on the drink before it is served. The cocktail will be served only in pairs at S$19.90.
