New Delhi: The CBSE on Monday declared the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) results and it was Kalpana Kumari who scored the highest marks in this year’s nationwide exam held to select students for undergraduate medical and dental courses.
Hailing from Bihar and trained for the exam in Delhi, Kumari had a percentile of 99.99 in NEET 2018.

She got 171 marks out of 180 in physics, 160 in chemistry and 360 out of 360 in biology, which combined botany and zoology, to get 691 marks out of 720 in NEET result 2018.
Rohan Purohit from Telangana and Himanshu Sharma from Delhi stood second and third in NEET 2018.
More than 13 lakh candidates registered for NEET 2018 on May 6 compared to 11.5 lakh last year. There are 60,000 seats in medical and dental institutes across the country.
