‘Veere Di Wedding’ has hit the silver screens on 1st June’ 18 and it already created a lot of buzz around the stars, especially Swara Bhaskar and Bebo. We love how Bebo gave us fashion goals throughout her film career and she still gives us fashion goals post pregnancy. While we can’t help but be in awe of the actress, there are too many trolls criticising her for not wearing motherly clothes.

During the music launch of the movie, Kareena Kapoor Khan wore a black outfit and some trolls surrounded her for wearing something that bold! But Kareen Kapoor Khan is the real-life ‘Geet’ from ‘Jab We Met’ giving the ‘Main Apni Favourite Hoon’ feel in her own life also as she gave a befitting reply to the trolls, saying:
“One should wear what they look good in. I don’t know what’s motherly dressing. My mom [Babita] wears modern clothes, she looks fabulous in jeans and a top. Have you seen my mother-in-law [Sharmila Tagore]? She looks gorgeous in a pair of jeans and a shirt, just as much as she does in a silk saree. I come from a world where women wear what they want to. Just because I have had a baby doesn’t mean I can’t wear a short dress. If you have the confidence and the body to pull off something, wear it by all means.”
Kareena also talked about the criticism that she faced during her pregnancy:
“When I was pregnant, there was so much talk about me being up and about. People need to let women embrace the various phases of their lives.”
She also added:
“Earlier, the mindset of Indian actresses was that they had to look 25, no matter what their age is. We don’t succumb to those pressures any more. Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Alia Bhatt are breaking these barriers. We won’t be rattled any longer by who is saying what.”
Another actress is currently making a lot of noise by her bold avatar in Veere Di Wedding, yes we are talking about Swara Bhaskar and her unapologetic attitude. In one of her scenes in the movie where she is seen masturbating is being looked down upon many people and also trolling her for using abusive language.
After the trolls took rounds on social media Swara bashed the twitteratis, after her friend noticed and reacted to the shameless tweets:
