Code word by Ghaziabad mom saves daughter from getting trafficked

Date:

A mother’s code word given to her daughter saved her from getting trafficked on Sunday evening. The 12-year old girl resides in Indirapuram and was going to the market to buy a packet of chips for herself in the evening. A stranger approached her and told her that her father has met with an accident and that he can take her to the place her father is.

Since her mother had given her a code word and it was mutually decided in the family, she asked the stranger to give her that code word which her father would have conveyed to the man. The man was startled and ran away from the spot in a jiffy.

The girl studies in class 5 and her father is a software engineer accompanied by her mother who is a homemaker. She also has a sister and a bother in the house. The code word was developed between the entire family after hearing the roaring cases of abduction and decided that it should be used whenever any stranger approaches them on whatsoever ground.
