At the trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ on Wednesday, Bollywood actor Harshvardhan Kapoor was asked several questions by journalists on the upcoming wedding of his sister Sonam Kapoor and her boyfriend Anand Ahuja. When asked what would he give his elder sister on the special occasion, Harshvardhan said, “A hug”, leaving the audience in splits.
Explaining his hilarious response, Harshvardhan said he won’t be able to gift Sonam anything because he is broke. Taking a sly dig at his own films, he quipped he doesn’t get paid well.

“Really, I want to give her a lot of love and good luck. No gifts… because I am broke. Look at the kind of film I am working on, they really do not pay that well, so I really do not have anything to gift her,” said Harshvardhan Kapoor at the ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ trailer launch.
While speaking at the event, Harshvardhan said he is ‘really happy’ that Sonam is getting married and called the Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja a ‘great guy’. The actor, however, was unaware of the wedding preparations going on ahead of Sonam-Anand’s wedding. “I am really happy that she is getting married. Anand is a great guy. However, I have been very busy with my film Bhavesh Joshi so I do not know much what’s going on with that (the preparations),” Harshvardhan said.

32-year old Sonam Kapoor has been in a relationship with Anand Ahuja for a few years and their families released an official statement on May 1 announcing the wedding date as May 8. The preparations are on in full swing at the Kapoor bungalow in suburban Juhu.
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ is slated to release on May 25. This is Harshvardhan’s second film after making his Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’ opposite Saiyami Kher.
