IndiGo Airlines president and director, Aditya Ghosh has put in his resignation. The information was released to the media by InterGlobe Aviation, the operator of the budget carrier, IndiGo airlines immediately after their Board meeting yesterday.
Chairman, Rahul Bhatia, will function as the interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as well as the director of the company for the time.
Ghosh later announced that he would be resigning in order to take up his “next adventure” and expressed his good wished to the airline for their expansion spree. He has been with the company for the last 10 years.

Ghosh’s resignation as President of the Company would be effective from July 31.
IndiGo also announced the return of Greg Taylor to the Board of the company as a Senior Advisor.

The airlines has been in news for the last few months for passenger harassment complaints and had been reprimanded by government agencies for its anti-customer attitude. From complaints of ground staff beating up customers to passengers being mistreated by in-flight staff, there has been a spate of reported incidents by IndiGo.
