Prime Minister’s ‘ghar ki baat’ in London has elicited accolades, praise, doubt, cynicism and disbelief from a wide cross section of people in the country including actors, activists, politicians and the common man. In Westminister Hall, Modi fielded questions ranging from sanitation, Ayushman Bharat to Pakistan addressing the 1.25 crore strong electorate as a precursor to the Karnataka elections and the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. He also made a number of references to the Mahatma Gandhi and his teachings, who had also spoken decades ago at the same venue.
Actor Anupam Kher tweeted that the talk was inspirational.
🙏#BharatKiBaatSabkeSaat pic.twitter.com/aSMO5yQWH0

While Congress leader Ashok Ghelot, who reacted to a number of comments made by the PM, said it is easy to issue statements in a foreign country without practicing those at home.
I urge the PM to walk out of the Royal Palace n reach out to one, living in a mud hut struggling to make his ends meet because of BJP led government’s policies.#PMInLondon https://t.co/w3ERs3QuN3

There were innumerable tweets from citizens praising the PM on his tough stance with Pakistan, schemes launched by the government and the puns at the opposition but there were those who said the the show was orchestrated better than a Bollywood production.
Now, what do yoy think was the real objective of this #BharatKiBaatSabkeSaath event. Vote and RT.
