Senior Congress politician Shashi Tharoor is to be charged by Delhi Police with abetment to suicide and destruction of evidence of Sunanda Pushkar case. Delhi Police had informed the Supreme Court that they will file the status report in the Sunanda Pushkar Murder Case within a week. A close aide of BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, has hailed the most recent development as a vindication for Swamy who has been fighting the case in the Court for a long time, Times Now reported.

Sunanda Pushkar was found dead in a hotel room at Delhi on January 17, 2014, which was confirmed as an unnatural death by AIIMS.
