Virat kohli refuses to shoot this ad with Deepika here is why

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has declined to sign an ad contract with Deepika Padukone as per latest reports. This has costed Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) a hefty sum of money.

Reportedly, RCB was in talks of a sponsorship deal worth Rs 11 crore with a travel and hotel booking company. Though the Indian cricketer didn’t have any problem shooting the advertisement with Deepika, it was RCB’s clause in Virat’s contract that limits him from sharing commercial screen space with other celebrities.

However, a source close to RCB, declined claims of Virat declining the offer, instead he said that the deal was scraped off as they got a better offer.

Earlier, during the IPL 2018 player retention event in January, RCB shipped a whopping Rs 17 crore to retain the services of Virat Kohli for the upcoming season, which made him the most expensive player in the history of the cash-rich league.
