Sensational details of the death of Shashi Tharoor’s wife Sunanda Pushkar have come into the public domain that allege that the Sub Divisional Magistrate who “first” inspected the Leela Palace Hotel room where she died had ordered the case to be investigated as one of murder.
As reported by DNA, the magistrate allegedly made the decision after noting the autopsy report, which stated that the cause of death was poisoning and noted the “blunt force” injuries on Ms. Pushkar’s body.
Additionally, it was reported that there was an alleged“scuffle” between Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar.
Sunanda Pushkar was found dead in her room 345 in the Leela Palace Hotel on January 17, 2014. A number of investigative reports by Republic TV have exposed the Delhi Police for the shortcomings in their action in the case.
Recently, on February 23, the Supreme Court had issued notice to the Delhi Police after leaving open the question of maintainability of Dr Subramanian Swamy’s petition seeking a SIT-probe into Sunanda Pushkar’s death.
