Early morning today, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri visited actor Anil Kapoor’s Mumbai residence, where several celebrities gathered to pay their condolences following Sridevi’s untimely demise.
Shah Rukh and Gauri were photographed entering the Kapoor residence after 1 am. Several celebrities like Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit, Jaya Prada, Tabu, Venkatesh, Karisma Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan assembled at Anil Kapoor’s place.
Shah Rukh and Sridevi have worked together in 1996 film Army. Years later, Sridevi has shot a cameo role in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Zero, which will become her last onscreen appearance when it releases in December 2018.

Filmmaker Karan Johar was also spotted outside Anil Kapoor’s home after the news of Sridevi’s death left everyone shattered. He was along with Shah Rukh and Gauri. Johar is now producing Sridevi’s older daughter Jahnvi’s debut film Dhadak.
South Superstars Rajnikanth Kamal Haasan was also spotted at the Kapoor residence on Monday evening. Rajnikanth came with his wife Latha. Rajinikanth and Sridevi have worked in several films together including Chaalbaaz and Pokkiri Raja. With Kamal Haasan, she co-starred in Sadma, Aakali Rajyam and Adyapadam among others. Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Sridevi worked together in 1976 film Moondru Mudichu, when the actress was just 13-year-old. The film was Sridevi’s first role as a leading lady.
In over 50 years of her career in films, Sridevi has worked in 300 films in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. She was last seen on the big screen in 2017’s MOM.
The legendary actress died in Dubai on late Saturday evening, after a week of festivities for nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding. A postmortem reveals that she accidentally drowned in her hotel bathtub, Dubai police said on Monday. Sridevi will be brought to Mumbai later today.
