Salman Khan fans will have a double treat in 2019 as his film Kick 2 will hit theatres on Christmas 2019. The same year, his second film Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, will also be released on Eid 2019.
The 2014 blockbuster, Kick, featuring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, was Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut. Now Kick 2 will also be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The release date was announced on the official Twitter handle of his banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

However, as of this writing, whether Jacqueline Fernandez will return in Kick 2 is not confirmed. The announcement only mentions the names of just Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala.
While rumours are doing rounds that the makers are keen to recreate the magic of the original jodi, some reports suggest that the film will feature a different leading lady. Names such as Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon and Amy Jackson are being tossed around.
Meanwhile, Salman and Jacqueline will be paired opposite each other in Remo D’Souza’s Race 3. Recently, the two actors wrapped up the Mumbai schedule of the film, which will hit the theatres this Eid.
