Prime Minister Narendra Modi today arrived at Davos, Switzerland, to attend the 48th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
As per a report, PM Modi arrived at Zurich at 01:00 PM (at Swiss local time), from where he headed to Davos. The itinerary also includes Modi’s meeting with the Swiss president at 5.30 PM.

Following which, an ‘India Welcome’ reception is scheduled at 07:45 PM and later the prime minister will dine with chief executive officers at 08:30 PM.
Prime Minister Modi will be accompanied by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu among others. They will be delivering a keynote address on the opening day of the meeting on Tuesday.

Modi will reportedly to hold bilateral talks beginning Tuesday with the President of Swiss Confederation, Alain Berset. He will also hold a series of meetings with business leaders and address the International Business Council.
“I am confident that these bilateral meetings would be fruitful and give a boost to our relations with these countries and further strengthen economic engagement,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a tweet.
Under the theme “Creating a shared future in a Fractured World”, the meeting aims to set an agenda to address political, economic and social challenges of recent times.
