For quite some time rumour mills have been churning out reports about the upcoming smartphone from Samsung which is dubbed as Samsung Galaxy X. Rumours have it that the new device would be a foldable smartphone.
Now a new leak offers more insights about the foldable smartphone. Sketches of the device have now surfaced online that gives more critical information about the device. It suggests that the upcoming smartphone will come with a heart rate monitor.
A Dutch website LetsGoDigital claims that the sketches of the Samsung Galaxy X foldable phone were released by the World Intellectual Property Organization.
It is said that illustrations have originated from a patent application submitted by Samsung in 2017. The sketch of the device shows that the device will feature a hinge in the middle of the device and it is the central attraction of the Samsung Galaxy X.
During an interview with Samsung mobile chief, DJ Koh, he revealed that the company has plans to launch its foldable phone sometime in 2019 rather than its initial target to launch it this year.

The chief also said that the company is now facing their biggest obstacle to giving the user experience to mass consumption and it is now trying to overcome the issue. Production for the Samsung Galaxy X assumed to start by the end of 2018.
Previously, a patent indicated that the pressure applied on the display will also have a pressure sensitive display to determine the force is applied on the screen. A similar feature was initially seen on Apple’s iPhone 6s named as the 3D Touch.
The patent also shows both displays featuring a camera and speaker, though it’s possible that there are a third camera and speaker on the rear panel. A stylus may also be included with the device.
