New Delhi: In a surgical strike 2.0 India on Monday hit back at Pakistan in a cross LoC operation conducted by the Indian Army.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) which is the media wing of the Pakistan Armed forces confirmed that three Pakistani soldiers had been killed and one was injured.

However, according to a report by NewsMobile partner Republic, Pakistan may be playing down the number and the true casualty count maybe 8-10, though 6 are confirmed at the time of writing along with 4 injured.

The counter raid along the Line of Control (LoC) was conducted near Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

This attack comes after four Indian soldiers were martyred in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, on Saturday, when Pakistan violated the ceasefire along the LoC. In the cross LoC raid conducted by the crack team of the Indian Army, it is believed that Pakistani posts were also destroyed. Sources have confirmed to Republic TV, that the Indian counter strike will not stop as long as Pakistan infiltration continues.
