The industry’s who’s who have been turning up to pay their last tributes to Shashi Kapoor, ever since news of the veteran actor and star’s demise last evening. All of Bollywood seems to have stopped in its tracks to pay homage to the man who was a stalwart of the hindi cinema and heart throb of many.
While condolences pour on social media, throngs of bollywood stars such as Amitabh Bachhan, Aishwarya Rai Bachhan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah remain unabated at the Kapoor residence despite heavy rains in Mumbai. Shahrukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachhan, Sanjay Dutt and numerous others have turned up to bid farewell to Shashi Kapoor. Last rites are being performed at the Santacruz crematorium.
Shashi Kapoor had been suffering from prolonged illnesses and breathed his last at the Kokilaben hospital last evening, Dec 4.
