The new Audi A7 Sportback is stuffed with tech to make your drive comfortable

Audi has continued its pursuit of providing the latest automotive technologies to give drivers the cutting-edge in every car. That theme continues with the newly announced Audi A7 Sportback.

The A7 Sportback is based on the recently launched Audi A8 luxury sedan but takes a slightly different route to offer a more sportier car that also features a number of new technical features. The A7 Sportback gets rid of the buttons and dials of the centre console in favour of a touchscreen display and also replaces the standard dials with a 12.3 digital display known as the Virtual Cockpit.

It doesn’t stop there. The A7 Sportback also features a computerised steering system that assist the driver make tight turns. There’s also a 48V electric hybrid that powers the stop-start system, allowing the A7 Sportback to shut off the engine when the car’s speed gets below 20kmph, saving fuel and reducing emissions.

The A7 Sportback is powered by a 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine that produces 335bhp and 369 lb ft of torque. Audi will make other petrol and diesel engines available at a later date.
