In yet another horrifying case of rape and assault, a 11-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped at gunpoint in her own home last night. The incident took place in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh around 1 AM.
According to police reports, three men stormed into the girl’s house at ! AM. THe girl was with her mother and brother at the time. All three men have been arrested by the police.
Gwalior’s Bijoli police station in-charge Raghuvir Meena told media that two of the accused threatened to shoot the girl’s mother and brother while the third raped the girl.
The accused who sexually assaulted the girl has been identified as Jhanwar Singh Kushwaha (36) and his accomplices have been identified as Raju Kushwaha (25) and Ramniwas Kushwaha (24). All three men have been booked under several sections of the IPC, including 376 D (gandrape), 450 (house-trespass in order to commit offence), 506 (criminal intimidation), 34 (acts done be several persons in furtherance of common intention) and relevant sections of the Protections of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
