The Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim singh was on Monday sentenced to a 20 year life imprisonment on the charges of rape. As part of his sentence the Dera Sacha chief will be living a life much different from his previous life of luxury.
Let’s sneak into what would be the life of Dera chief in the jail. The Dera chief is given a Prisoner No. 1997 and would be getting a kurta Pajama after every 6 months and would be getting winter clothes in Winters.
According to the jail rules, the Dera chief would be getting a cup of tea in the morning and in the evening. He would get 100gm of bread and a cup of milk for breakfast. 70gm of pulses in lunch and 230gm of any seasonal vegetable in Dinner would be given along with five chappati’s of 350 gm flour and would be given kheer on Sundays and any National holiday.
For entertainment, he can play games like Badminton, basketball, ludo, chess, volleyball, kabbadi and can also participate in quiz and sports competition organized by the jail authorities. Music learning facility is also provided by the jail.

Work for the printing press or can also make quilts using hand machine. He can also get trained for making clothes, Earthen pots, Soaps, phenol and mats. The prison also provides training to repair electric appliances like TV, fridge and Radio.
