Good news for Delhi Metro blue line commuters as now you can avail free high-speed wi-fi on all the 50 metro stations.
The DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) launched the ‘high-speed free Wi-Fi’ facility on Blue Line connecting Dwarka Sec-21 with Noida City Centre and Vaishali.
By this launch, now DMRC plans to equip all the metro stations with free wi-fi in a phased manner. In another 6 to 9 months, stations along Yellow Line connecting Samaypur Badli to Huda City Cente is expected to get free wi-fi.
DMRC’s managing director Mangu Singh launched the facility titled “Oui DMRC Free Wi-Fi” from the Rajiv Chowk Metro station.
The commuters can gain access to all standard internet applications through Oui DMRC Free wi-fi after doing one-time registration through on their mobile phones.
The DMRC has tied up with Techno Sat Comm, which is the same wi-fi service provider for Airport Express Metro and Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani.
