Among the Indians settled in the US, the Patel community form a significant portion of the diaspora. With many generations of Indians living abroad, it was only inevitable that a hilarious situation would take place at some point of time.
During a high school graduation ceremony in New Jersey, a number of students with Patel as their last name were called up to receive their degrees. With so many Patels in the lineup, their fellow classmates decided to count up all the students with Patel surnames.
