PayTm to get messaging feature soon

India’s largest e-wallet company PayTm is all set to get a messaging feature in its app to facilitate its users very soon.

PayTm has around 225 Million users on its app and the new WhatsApp like feature will be available on PayTm within the next two weeks, according to the reports.

PayTm is following the trend which has been seen followed by messaging apps such as Hike which introduced UPI (Unified Payment Interface) support last month and WhatsApp has also planned to introduce the same later this year.

The addition of feature is aimed towards providing users a platform for payment with interaction.

The PayTm gained momentum during the cash crunch at the time demonetization in India in November last year. With plenty of messaging apps in the market and WhatsApp having 200 Million users, the competition will be an interesting between PayTm and WhatApp.
