Indian car enthusiasts talk about Suzuki Swift every once in awhile because of its strong and bold presence in the Indian car market. Maruti Suzuki launched all new Dzire earlier this year and there is a huge demand for the much awaited third generation Swift in India. Meanwhile, an upgraded version of Suzuki Swift Sports with more power (140) HP and edgier body is all set to debut at 67th Frankfurt Motor Show in September this year.

The 67th Frankfurt Motor Show will be held at Messe Frankfurt, Frankfurt.
The Suzuki Sports will have a 1.4-litre turbocharged Boosterjet engine with 140 Horse Power with a Peak Torque of 220 Nm. The Sports version of Swift can click 0-100 under 9 seconds.
Although there are no reports of Suzuki Sport making entry into the Indian market, Maruti Suzuki launched Baleno RS earlier this year which signals towards the expansion of Maruti Suzuki to compete in the sports hatchback segment and challenge the likely of Punto Abarth and VW Polo GT.
