Umesh Yadav becomes RBI assistant manager

Indian pacer Umesh Yadav has now been given a contract as a Reserve Bank of India assistant manager in the Nagpur office. Known for his furious bowling Umesh Yadav was earlier given an oppurtunity to join Air India but despite doing well, he was not offered a contract.

“The talks were on before the Champions Trophy. He had met RBI officials before leaving for England in May. The officials gave a go ahead to his appointment in sports quota but due to national duties he couldn’t complete formalities,”  said a source.

“He couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity to get his name associated with a reputed organization under sports quota. Although he is financially sound, nothing is better than having a permanent job”, said one of the sources close to Umesh Yadav.

Umesh Yadav is all set to tour with the Indian cricket squad to Sri Lanka. He has been in a tremendous form with bowling at a consistent speed over 14 km/ph.
