AIB, a comedy group is known for roasting people and for their provocative comedy, recently the group posted an image of PM Narendra Modi’s clone with a Snapchat dog filter and a captioned it as #wanderlust. There was an instant outrage on Twitter.
After the outrage and the tweet by Mumbai police which said that the post will be forwarded to the cyber cell for investigation, AIB deleted the post. Well now, The Mumbai Police Cyber Cell on Friday filed an FIR against All India Bakchod (AIB) co-founder Tanmay Bhat for ‘making fun of’ nation’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The group was accused of insulting the Prime Minister and lots of criticism flooded AIB’s page on Twitter:
With fame and power, comes great responsibility. As a comedian, u must know difference between joke, insult and hurting sentiments.

AIB always gets under fire for their most unfunny jokes. First the sachin-lata thing, now the Modi meme.

As I said in the morning. Your intentions matter the most. AIB’s intention is not to make people laugh but to hurt. AIB will die eventually. https://t.co/QWcyWG05Cn

After all the criticism, AIB deleted the post but the trolling didn’t stop. After a while, the most prominent face of AIB, Tanmay Bhatt tweeted giving his response:
PS: Will continue making jokes. And deleting if necessary. And making jokes again. And Apologizing if necessary. Don’t care what you think.
