Students in colleges and hostels mostly face difficulties in tier 2 cities to get food delivery from the restaurants. Late night cravings become even a bigger problem with the scarcity of restaurants near the colleges situated in remote areas of the cities.

IIIT Bhubaneshwar students Rishav Bajoria and Shourya Pratap Singh decided to take the matter into their own hands to break the jinx of food delivery in tier 2 cities. MealRobs was started by them after an overnight discussion.

Now people can order food through the app or website which is directly sent to the kitchen. The platform acts as a reputation manager for restaurants and other small kitchens and there is also feedback option for the customers. The data is analysed after feedback to help improve the service.
