Jayalalithaa’s estate accountant found hanging in his house

Late Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa’s, Kodanadu estate, one of its accountant was found hanging in his house on Monday, the police said. The accountant, Dinesh Kumar, was found hanging in his house under mysterious circumstances. According to the investigation, police has said that the twenty-eight-year-old has committed suicide.

His hanging body was found by his mother and sister and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. The death comes more than two months after one of the security guards at the estate bungalow near Udhagamandalam was murdered by a gang on April 24 and a suspect died later in a road mishap. Another suspect in the break-in-cum-murder was seriously injured in a road accident, that left his wife and daughter dead.

However, Ooty SP Rambha said that the suicide was not at all linked with the other alleged murders and is an isolated case.

Family sources said Kumar and some of the other staff in the estate were two days ago reportedly discussing the fate of their jobs with the likely change in management of the sprawling estate. Police said they were also investigating whether there was any family dispute behind the death of Kumar.
