Uttarakhand CM, Trivendra Singh Rawat, stops fleet, helps, accident victim

Uttrakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat set a good example for other big ministers by stopping his cavalcade to help an accident victim in Lacchiwala area on Saturday. The CM spotted a man lying on the road unconscious after an accident with his motorbike. He immediately ordered his fleet to stop and help the injured while returning from a function.

The CM and his staffs helped the victim to reach the hospital in time. The CM’s team later informed his relatives. The victim was identified as Dr Chandra Singh, who was posted in the Primary Health Centre of Bhaniyawala. The victim’s condition is said to be stable and he did not suffer external injuries, according to the reports.

The CM said “In such scenario, each second is precious and we can save someone’s life by helping the victim. It is my appeal to the people of Uttarakhand and the country to help people who have met with an accident,”

“A few minutes of our lives can save someone’s life” he added.

Earlier in February this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also broke his protocol by giving way to an ambulance in Gujarat, according to the reports.
