OnePlus has officially launched its flagship phone OnePlus 5. The best smartphone from OnePlus was showcased by a global live stream on Tuesday. OnePlus 5 will go on sale on June 22 in India.
Price
The global price of the smartphone has been announced at $479 which is about Rs 30000 approximately for the 6GB RAM version. The shipping of OnePlus 5 will start from June 27. The prices are expected to vary in India.

Design and Display
OnePlus 5 is the thinnest (7.25mm) OnePlus smartphone yet. The smartphone has an uncannily similar design to iPhone 7 with an anodised aluminium body. The phone is initially offered in two colours, Midnight Black and Slate Grey. OnePlus 5 have 5.5 inches 1080 Full HD resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Specs
The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Octa-core one and clocks a speed of 2.45Ghz. The OnePlus 5 will come in two options 6GBRAm with 64GB, option and 8GBRAM with 128GB storage. The phone uses LPDDR4X RAM for optimum performance. The phone will run on OxygenOs based Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The OxygenOS adds features like reading modes, secure mode, translucent drawer etc. One Plus 5 with 3300 mAh battery is supported by dash charging which claims half an hour charge could last all day.

Camera
Dual camera set up is one of the new features of OnePlus 5. The phone sports a 16-MP front and 20-MP dual camera. OnePlus claims front camera with f/1.7 aperture is best fro low light images. The 20-MP rear camera has new background styles such as ‘bokeh’ image, which enable the user to focus on the object while blurring the background. The phone will have 8X zoom and it can record 4K videos.
