Pakistani cricketers are defamed and trolled constantly for their weak English communication skills, former Indian opener, Virender Sehwag decided to come to their rescue by discarding remarks made by people against Pakistani cricketers on their language discomforts. Sehwag tweeted “Criticising Sarfaraz for not speaking English is insane. His job is to play and he has done brilliantly to take Pakistan in finals.

This is a good gesture from an Indian cricketer ahead of the final match of ICC Champions Trophy between arch rivals India and Pakistan that is to be held on June 18th.

While earlier Sehwag trolled Pakistan’s former ace bowler Shoaib Akhtar in a cricket talk show for his team’s underperformance against India. This tweet under #StopColonialMindset came as a surprise. The tweet is getting a mixed response but some people have appreciated his efforts amid ongoing tensions between the two countries.
