Jaipur: In a bid to promote start-ups, Rajasthan government said that the work to set up start-up incubation centers at the divisional headquarters level is under progress and those in Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur would start soon.
Replying to debate on demand for grants for education, art and culture in the assembly, the Higher education minister Kiran Maheshwari said the government is committed to improve the education infrastructure.

She said that the former Congress government opened only three government colleges in the first four years and announced nearly 42 colleges in the last six months of its tenure.

The present BJP government, she said, started 34 of the 42 colleges with full resources and the two of the remaining 8 colleges will start from next academic session.
