Battle For States: NewsMobile Poll of Polls

After a high-octane campaigning for over two months, results for the five poll-bound states —Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Uttarakhand and Manipur — is all set to be announced on 11 March.

But before the counting of votes begins and the results are out, political pundits get on to number crunching to predict different scenarios.

NewsMobile brings you the rough image of the scenario about who will have an edge in the states.

After voting in seven phases, the fate of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BSP supremo Mayawati will be at the stake in this elections. In other terms, the UP polls play a vital role in the 2019 Batte for the nation. Moreover, these polls will be the biggest test of the Prime Minister post-Demonetisation.

According to the VMR Exit Poll, the BJP has exceptionally well in Uttar Pradesh. The poll claims that BJP will win 192-210 seats. Meanwhile, the SP-Congress will get 110-130 and BSP will end up with 57-74.

The Punjab numbers are in. According to India Today- Axis Poll,

AAP to win 34% votes, Congress to get 36% votes and SAD-BJP to get only 17% votes.
