Smriti Irani has alleged that Tehseen Poonawalla, a relative of Robert Vadra tweeted a sexist comment against her in 2016. Poonawalla is the husband of Monica Vadra, a cousin of Robert Vadra.
The tweet was from February 2016, when the decision to hoist the National flag at every university. After this, Poonawala put out a tweet in his defence and denied having posted anything like that and also threatened legal action against Irani for defaming him.
